The 2020 Season saw a change in divisions and a close set of games to start the season.

Weeks 1-5

For PBnJ the first 5 weeks had Ty Palmer sitting at 4-1, Erik at 3-2 and Aaron, Dave Pate at 2-3. Palmer and Erik were 2-0 for their division whereas Aaron, Dave were at 0-2.

Lulz was top heavy with Kevin sitting at 4-1 and Nanninga, Oberg, Travis were all 2-3.

5BBB had TyBo winning his first 4 in a row before losing in Week 5 to Kevin. This meant no team would remain undefeated in KSL after Week 4. Meanwhile, Brian and Andy were 2-3 and Doug had only 1 win so far this season.

Weeks 6-10

For Weeks 6-10, Erik and Aaron were both perfect winning 5 straight. Palmer won 3 of his matchups and Dave Pate went 1-4. Erik, Palmer, Aaron were all within a win or two of being the division leader.

Kevin had a rough patch and only won 2 games alongside Oberg. Meanwhile Nanninga jumped up and won 3 during this stretch. Sadly, Travis only had one victory during these 5 games.

Andy was able to win 3 in a row before dropping his next two games. Brian and Ty were also able to win 2 games to keep the division pretty competitive. Sadly for Doug, he went winless during this time.

Weeks 11-13

PBnJ was very competitive down to the final three games. Erik needed only one win to secure the division and was able to do that in Week 11. Palmer went on a tear and won his final 5 games to tie Erik at 9-4 but Erik had the tiebreakers to secure the #1 seed. Palmer finished 4th overall and Aaron ended up 5th. Dave had a great final 3 weeks and won all his games but ended up just missing the playoffs due to a tiebreaking procedure.

Nanninga ended with winning 3 straigh and secured the division. Oberg was right behind him as was Kevin. For Travis, he ended the year at 5-8 and just missed the playoffs.

TyBo ended the year going 1-2 but luckily for him, so did the rest of his division which gave Ty the #3 spot in the playoffs. Brian ended up just barely making it in the playoffs whereas Andy barely missed out by 1 win. Doug had a rough year and finished last in the league at 2-11.

Playoffs

After a long fought season we finally made to the playoffs where we saw top seeded Erik take on Brian who just managed to barely squeeze his way into the playoffs. Erik was an early favorite of Yahoo by more than 40 points but after a crazy Monday night game, Brian upset Erik by beating him by only 2 points. Meanwhile, Nanninga made short work of division rival Kevin and Oberg took Ty Boardman out very quickly. In a close matchup of the 4/5 seed, we saw Aaron take down Ty Palmer by only a few points.

In the second round of the playoffs we had Dave Nannigna put an end to Brian's Cinderella story and we saw a close game between Aaron and Oberg that saw Jon get the win.

In the finals, we had two evenly matched teams in Dave Nanninga and Jon Oberg go at it but after the Monday night games, Jon Oberg was crowned the champion of KSL for the second time.
