The 2019 Season saw a change in divisions and a close set of games to start the season.

Weeks 1-5

PBnJ saw Erik take an early lead by winning his first two games but after losing two in a row, Aaron was able to take the lead and finish 4-1. Erik was close behind at 3-2. Meanwhile Dave Pate was at 2-3 and Ty Palmer was sitting back at just 1-4.

Over in LuLz we had Travis win 2 in a row before losing his next three. Oberg won 3 of his 5 matchups to take over the division and Kevin was also at 3 wins but lost a divisional matchup. Meanwhile, Nanninga was sitting at just 2 wins.

5BBB had Doug take an early lead at 4-1 but Andy wasn't too far behind at 3-2. Ty Boardman had fallen to 2-3 after winning his first two games and Brian was sitting at just 1-4.

Weeks 6-10

PBnJ saw a tight race with Erik and Aaron. They were both within a game of each other until they finally met in Week 9 to decide who would be the divisional leader going forward. Dave had a string of tough losses and had the most points against through 10 weeks. He had nearly 200 more points against him than the next team. However, he was able to battle back and finish 2-3 for weeks 6-10. Ty Palmer had some close wins and finished this set of weeks at 2-3.

Despite losing 3 straight, Travis battled back and won 3 in a row to take back his division from Oberg. Oberg lost a few games to finish this set at 2-3. Meanwhile Nannigna won 3 of 5 and Kevin lost 4 straight.

Over at 5BBB we saw Doug take a comanding lead in his division and he was able to secure a playoff spot after week 9. Andy lost 3 in a row to fall to 1-4 for this set of weeks. TyBo also had a rough go by losing 4 of 5. Brian was able to only manage 2 wins during this timeframe.

Weeks 11-13

Erik lost 2 of the 3 remaining games which put him in a tough spot but luckily Aaron lost his final 3 games bringing his losing streak to 5 straight. Erik finished as the #2 seed and Aaron was #5. Palmer and Pate ended the season getting a few wins including defeating both Aaron and Erik the final games of the season.

Travis was the top seed for his division and won 2 straight heading into Week 13 against Dave Nanninga. Dave ultimately defeated Travis and took the division despite being 2-4 against them. Kevin and Oberg ended the season winning 3 games between them and finishing as the 7th and 8th seed respectively.

Doug pretty much locked in the division after his win in Week 9 so he needed a few more to be the #1 seed. After winning his next 3 in a row, he did just that and finished the season 10-3. Andy had an amazing comeback towards the latter part of the year. He won 4 straight and was close to winning his 5th when Brian ultimaetly stopped him. Andy finished as the 6th overall seed. Ty Boardman and Brian finished at 4-9 and at the bottom of the league.

Playoffs

Doug finished as the top seed by a full 2 game difference between second place and made easy work of the 8th seed Oberg. Second seeded Erik VanHyfte put up his lowest point total of his season and lost to the person putting up the second least of that week, Kevin Smith. Dave Nanninga and Andrew Hughes put up the second and third most points that week. In a KSL first, Andy won going into the second round but a stat correction put Dave into his place. Meanwhile, Aaron defeated Travis in the battle of 4 v 5.

For the second round, Kevin took out top seeded Doug in a rematch from their KSL Championship of 2013. Meanwhile, Dave defeated Aaron.

In the finals we had Dave Nanninga taking on Kevin Smith. Both teams were fighting for their second KSL Title but ultimately, Kevin was able to overpower Dave and win #2.
