PBnJ looked like it would be a race between Brian and Dave Pate but Travis defeated Brian in Week 11 to give Dave the edge. Travis kept winning and finished with a 6 game winning streak and even defeated Dave in the final match of the season. Unfortunately, Dave had the tiebreaker over Travis and so he took the #3 seed. Meanwhile, Brian lose 2 of his last 3 games to miss the playoffs. Jon had already been eliminated but got a 1 win during the final stretch.
+

Oberg had lost 3 straight to knock him out of the divisional title. Brian earned the 5th seed whereas Oberg and Dave were the 6, 7 seeds respectfully.

In LuLz, Doug had locked up the division but he solidified it when Kevin went on a 5 game losing streak. Quietly, Andy had won 5 in a row and finished 9-4 on the season despite losing his first 2 games. Kevin's losing streak dropped him to the #6 seed. Ty Palmer won his last 2 games but fell short at 4-9.

Doug was the only member of LuLz to earn a playoff spot. Palmer ended up winning his final 3 games but fell 1 short of making the playoffs. Kevin lost 5 of 7 and Andy lost his final 6 games to miss the playoffs.

The 5BBB division saw a lot of action towards the end. Aaron dropped 3 games in a row by slim margins. This allowed Dave Nanninga to swoop in and take the division. Dave took the #2 seed while Aaron was #5. Erik was in contention to take the division but losses to Andy and Aaron nullified that possibility. TyBo played Spoiler and won 2 games during this stretch. His wins took Aaron from the #2 seed and knocked Brian out of the playoffs.

The 2018 Season started off with no clear powerhouse but we did see a few teams fall quickly while the top shifted throughout the season.

Weeks 1-5

PBnJ remained in close contention with Brian at 4-1 whereas Travis and Oberg were at 3-2 and Dave P was at 2-3.

The LuLz division saw Doug at 4-1, Kevin at 2-3 and Andrew, Ty P sitting at 1-4.

The 5BBB division saw Ty B at 4-1. Nanninga was at 3-2. Erik was at 2-3 and Aaron was at the rarely seen 1-4 record.

Weeks 6-10

PBnJ had a better set of weeks for this time frame. Travis, Brian and Oberg finished through week 10 at 6-4 and Dave P was at 5-5. Brian had 3 losses in a row which opened the door for his divisional rivals to pounce.

The LuLz had a rough few weeks and even the leader Doug had lost 3 of his 5 matches. However, he still had 6 wins and next was Kevin with 4, Ty with 3 and Andy with 2. Doug was 1 game away from sealing a playoff spot.

Nanninga had a great stretch and won 5 in a row to finish with 7 wins. TyBo was also sitting with 7 wins. Erik was sitting pretty with 6 and Aaron was in the basement with only 2 wins and 8 losses so far.

Weeks 11-13

PBnJ had a close finish with all 4 teams battling for the divisional crown. In the end, Travis and Brian battled in week 13 and the winner would become the divisional champion. Oberg had lost 3 straight to knock him out of the divisional title. Brian earned the 5th seed whereas Oberg and Dave were the 6, 7 seeds respectfully.

In LuLz, Doug had locked up the division but he solidified it when Kevin lost 4 of 5 games. Doug ended up finishing strong, winning 3 of 4 and earning the number 2 seed. Doug was the only member of LuLz to earn a playoff spot. Palmer ended up winning his final 3 games but fell 1 short of making the playoffs. Kevin lost 5 of 7 and Andy lost his final 6 games to miss the playoffs.

The 5BBB division saw a lot of action towards the end with TyBo dropping 3 critical games and Nanninga losing 2 as well. Dave N ended up with the top seed and TyBo was the top wild card seed. Erik won his last game to barely squeeze into the playoffs as the 8th seed.

Playoffs

In the first week of the playoffs we saw a bunch of divisional rematches. In particular, Erik defeated the top seeded Dave Nanninga for the third time this season. Doug knocked off 2017 Champion Dave P. Travis took down his rival Oberg and TyBo defeated Brian. Erik was able to keep the dream alive by defeating Doug and Travis took down TyBo to make it to the finals. In the Matchett Cup Championship, Erik was able to live the fairy tale dream and defeat Travis to claim the 2018 KSL Championship.
