Dave joined KSL in 2009 when Andy McConnell left. He was very eager to join and quickly became a force in his division. During the 2008 season, Dave had his first taste of KSL when he was given the task to draft for an absent Kevin Smith. Dave did his job very well and got Kevin into the playoffs. This also made Dave hungry to make his way into KSL so he could manage his own team. He got that chance during the 2009 season.

2009-2011

In 2009 Dave joined a very tough division that had Andy Hughes and Kevin Smith in it. Dave was able to win 4 of his first 6 matches to put himself on top of the division. However, Dave had problems in the middle of the season and dropped 5 in a row. Dave was able to secure a playoff spot that year but he didn't go very far. He beat Andy in the first round but lost to the eventual champion, Ty Palmer. Dave's first year of 5-7 was on par for what we had seen in the previous year.

In 2010 Dave had a rough start by only winning 1 of his first 7 games. However, he came back strong and won 5 of 6. Eventually he was in the middle of the pack but barely missed the playoffs by one game.

2011 saw Dave battling Kevin Smith for the leader of their division. Dave won his first 4 games to give him the edge. He stayed on top for most of the year and finished with a 9-4 record. Dave ended up on top and secured the #2 seed in the playoffs. Dave had a rough playoff run that saw him go from second place down to last. He lost to Mike, Kevin and Oberg in the playoffs.

2012-2013

Dave started off the 2012 Season as the man to beat. He won 6 in a row before finally losing his first game to bitter rival Kevin Smith. After that loss, Dave started to have some bad games. He ended up losing 3 of his next 4 games and in week 13 his divisional title was on the line against Kevin. This week, Dave was able to stop him and secure the 3rd seed for the playoffs. Moving into the post season, Dave put up monstrous numbers to take down division rival Ty Boardman. However, in the second week, Dave was unable to defeat Ty Palmer. Dave was happy to make it past the first round this year but he wants to finally win a KSL Championship.

Dave had a pretty good start to 2013 by going 2-1 but he lost his next 2 to be 2-3 before handing Kevin his first loss of the season. Dave was 3-3 and in the driver seat for a playoff push. He traded wins over the next 4 weeks but was still 5-5. However, he had three straight losses to cap off his season and finish 5-8. Dave finished with the most points against and missed the playoffs by 1 game.
