2008 - Championship Run
With the expansion in 2008, Ryan joined his IBWIP partner Blake in his division. Ryan joined newcomer Travis for the first year in MFL. Ryan had a bad start to the year by losing his first 4 games. However, Ryan came back and won 7 of his next 8. In the first round of the playoffs he defeated an ownerless McConnell. For the second round he beat division winner Blake. In the Conference finals he beat the red hot Aaron Hughes.
2009 - Absentee Owner
Ryan was set to join the league in 2009 but after he failed to show up for the draft, his team was drafted by the commissioner for him.
Legacy
Ryan's best legacy is the run he made during the 2008 season.
