Russ Hughes is the father of Andrew and Aaron Hughes and is the 2005 KSL Champion.
2005
Russ joined the league with Blake Clayton to form the new head to head system of KSL.
Russ started off the 2005 season by dropping 3 in a row but came back to win 4 straight. He had a similar story throughout the season. Russ eventually finished 7-7 and he earned a high spot in the playoffs. Russ took out Ryan McCarty in the first round and beat his only straight born son Aaron in the second. Finally, in the third round, Russ defeated Blake Clayton to claim the Matchett Cup.
