2025

For 2024 we drafted in person again and had last years winner Ty Boardman draw names for the divisions. We went back to fan favorite names of Peanut Butter & Jelly, Byaaah! and of course 5 Bucks Below the Belt.

Weeks 1-5

Dave took the lead by winning 3 games, Brian was able to win 2 whereas Cam only had 1 and Boardman had a tough start to the season by dropping all 5 games.

Palmer was able to win 4 of 5 but Oberg was close behind with 3 wins and Erik, Travis each had 2.

Nanninga won 4 of 5 but lost to Doug who was also 4 of 5. Andrew won every other game whereas Aaron was at 2-3 for the division.

Weeks 6-10

Dave Pate was able to win his next 4 and take control of his division. After losing his first 5, Boardman came back to win 3 of 5. Cam was able to pick up a win over Brian who dropped 5 in a row.

Travis won 5 straight this week and was in lead for his division. Erik came back and won 3. Oberg and Palmer were only able to win 1 each during this time frame.

Nanninga continued his winning ways and won all 5 to become 9-1 and take a playoff spot. Aaron was able to get 4 wins during this time. Andy only amassed 2 and Doug only had 1.

Weeks 11-14

Dave was able to lock up the division early on but only won 2 of the 4 remaining games. He finished as the #2 seed. Ty continued his winning ways and won his final 5 games to make the playoffs as the #7 seed. Brian won 2 of his games but finished at 4-10. Cam lost his remaining games and finished 2-12.

Erik won out and finished as the #3 seed. Oberg won 3 of 4 and finished as the #6 seed. Travis lost his remaining 4 games and missed the playoffs again by tiebreakers. Palmer finished his season at 5-9.

Nanninga kept winning and has a KSL record for the best record in history at 13-1. He won 11 straight with his only loss being to Doug Hahn. Doug won 3 of his last 4 to finish as the #4 seed. Aaron was 2-2 and became the #5 seed. Andy lost out and missed the playoffs.

Playoffs

In round 1 of 2024 we had all divisional battles and every matchup saw a team that went 2-0 against them in the regular season. Dave Pate was able to get the monkey off his back and defeat Ty Boardman after losing twice to him earlier this season. In contrast, Erik was able to get his third win against Oberg this year. After a very close game, Aaron was able to get his third win over Doug.

Nanninga enjoyed his first round bye and took on Aaron in the second round.
