For the 2007 season KSL added 4 new players, Jon Oberg, Joe Snider, Ty Palmer and Prime Time. The 2007 season had seen the biggest expansion since they moved from 6 teams to 8 in 2004. This was also the first year since 2002 where we saw some teams not make the playoffs. This was the start of making the playoffs the main focus of KSL.

Legacy
The move to 12 teams proved to be very popular but it wouldn't be until 2011 until we moved back to 12 teams. 2007 was one of the most popular years because of the drama that surrounded the playoff push at the end. The 4 owner addition was also popular. Ty Palmer and Joe Snider became big players in KSL down the road and Oberg was very excited to join and he became very active in KSL.
